Tower (2)
Primary used runway is 09/27. Runway Configurations may need to be communicated with CYVR Vancouver Arrival controllers.
Single Runway Operations
For realistic Controllers, you are enabled to run single runway operations and runway closures to simulate how Victoria is operating in real time. This could include reasons of construction, snow operations, heavy winds with light traffic counts and any other scheduled or un-scheduled runway closures, even including emergencies during your controlling sessions.
Runway Changes due to Wind
Prefered calm wind runway is 27.
Runway 09/27 is the only runway that supports ILS & RNAV Approaches. Runways 03/21 and 14/32 are not equiped with any landing support guidance system and are also to short for most commercial aircraft.
