  • Setting active runways
  • Tower airspace extends up to 6NM from CYLW airport and up to 6500ft MSL

Radio Examples

IFR takeoff clearence:

(Callsign), once airborne contact center (or monitor unicom), (wind), cleared for takeoff runway (RWY)

Arrivals

(Callsign), (wind), cleared to land runway (RWY)

Visual Flight Rules (VFR)

Tower will keep VFR Depatures until the aircraft is reaching 6NM boundary from CYYJ airport or requesting to climb above 2500ft MSL
