Overview Military
As already noted this is just an Temporary overview to answer some questions.
What does it mean when the Controller tells me to squawk MVFR? In Germany M- (Military) VFR is the squawk 0033. This informs the Controller that you are an Military VFR Flight. (This may and will differ from country to country)
What does OID mean?
An OID (Omnidirectional Instrument Departure) more or less allows you to fly any heading / Fix after takeoff it differs from the SID (Standard Instrument Departure) because it doesn’t follow a specific route but allows the pilot to fly any heading which is best for him.
