Area of Responsibility (Clearence)
Vancouver Clearence is responsible for issuing clearences, the startup and pushback is the responsibility of Ground.
Radio Examples
IFR Clearence:
(Callsign), cleared to (airport) via the (SID) departure, flight plan route, depart runway (runway), Squawk (code) .
ACA123, cleared to Kelowna airport via the VANCOUVER3 departure, flight plan route, depart runway 26L, Squawk 1234
IFR Clearence without SID:
(Callsign), cleared to (airport), flight plan route, Squawk (code) .
ACA123, cleared to Kelowna airport, flight planned route, Squawk 1234.
Readback correct Phraseology:
(Callsign), Readback Correct, Push and Start at Pilots Discretion. Departure Frequency (frequency) , call for taxi)
ACA123, Readback Correct, Push and Start at Pilots Discretion, Departure Frequency (125.95), call for taxi.
If Vancouver Clearence is online, the Pilot will be given to the Ground for the "Push and Start at Pilots Discretion" part.
